We sew clothing for wounded soldiers

Since 2023, women from Český Krumlov have been part of the Ukrainian Sewing Company. They sew adaptive clothing for wounded and sick soldiers on the front line.

We have been part of the Ukrainian Sewing Company since 2023.

Adaptive clothing

Specially made for wounded soldiers — easy to put on without strain.

Svietlana Pashanina and her colleagues have been working at the centre for Ukrainians in Český Krumlov since March 2022. The centre was set up as a direct response to Russian aggression and helps Ukrainians who have fled the war.

Since 2023 the women from Krumlov have been part of the Ukrainian “Sewing Company”. They sew adaptive clothing specially designed for wounded and sick soldiers. The clothes must be easy to put on even with injured limbs, easy to care for and durable.

Every piece of clothing goes directly to soldiers on the front line or to hospitals where the wounded are recovering.

Every stitch is our answer to the war. We sew so that soldiers can focus on the fight — not on the pain of getting dressed.
